About MAPS
The MILWAUKEE AREA PIPE SOCIETY, LTD. was founded in January, 1999 by a group of pipe
enthusiasts and collectors to discuss pipe brands and tobacco blends, to swap pipes
and tobacco samples, and to learn from the fellowship of other pipe enthusiasts how
to get the most enjoyment from the pipe smoking experience. Membership is open to
all who share the objectives of the Society, and pipe enthusiasts from all areas are
welcome to join. Our current membership stands at 85.

The Milwaukee Area Pipe Society is still in its infancy, and will need input from
all members and pipe enthusiasts in the local and surrounding areas to determine how
the Society will be shaped and what it will become over the ensuing years. Every
member is encouraged to invite their pipe-smoking friends to join the Society, and
to offer input on any aspects of the Society.
